$90.00 if submitted via casher's check or money order (no personal checks or charge/credit cards accepted). Due to the relatively slow progress of regular mail/post, this method of payment is recommended as practicable only for anyone residing in the United States or Canada.

$120.00 if submitted via wire transfer (U.S. banks charge for receiving and processing wire transfers). This method of payment is much more expeditious, reliable, and is recommended especially for anyone residing in a foreign country.

*This fee is non-refundable should the student cancel enrollment in a degree program after 5 days of being notified by the institution of his or her acceptance.

Associate's Degree (A.A., A.S.):  $150.00 / Semester Unit

Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.S.):  $150.00 / Semester Unit

Master's Degree (M.A., M.S.):  $225.00 / Semester Unit

Doctorate:  $300.00 / Semester Unit

Post Doctoral Certificate (PDC):  $7,500.00 (entire program)

Certificate in Addiction Counselor Training:  $150.00 / Semester Unit

Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling:  $150.00 / Semester Unit

Note #1:  Semester Unit = Semester Credit = Semester Hour

Note #2:  The cost of an entire degree program depends upon the student's eligibility when initially enrolled with respect to the following criteria: (1) the quantity of allowable transfer units, (2) the amount of applicable portfolio and/or proctored comprehensive examination units approved, (3) the number of prerequisite units needed, and (4) the unit requirements of the degree desired. Graduation Fee:  $500.00 (graduation ceremony, if desired, is extra)

Degree Program Change:  $100.00

Master's Degree Thesis Review Fee:  $1,200.00

Doctoral Degree Dissertation Review Fee:  $2,400.00


Notes:

    1. Transcripts will not be issued to students with outstanding balances on their accounts.
    2. Fees are subject to change without notice.
    3. Candidates for graduation will not receive a diploma until all financial obligations have been paid in full.
    4. All funds are in U.S. currency.  Tuition is payable in full upon registration. However, if this is not possible, other arrangements may be made with the University on an individual basis.

Tuition Refund Policy

A student has the right to cancel his or her enrollment in a degree program or registration for an individual course of study and receive a refund by submitting in writing a request for cancellation to AGU’s Director of Admissions.*

After acceptance into a degree program and prior to enrollment in a course of study:

1 – 5 days: Student entitled to a refund of all monies paid to the University including the Application Fee**

After 5 days: AGU retains the Application Fee

After acceptance into a degree program and after enrolling in a course of study:

1 – 5 days: Student entitled to 100% of all course tuition money paid to AGU**

After 5 days and before submission of the first completed course assignment: student entitled to a refund of all course tuition money paid to AGU less a $50.00 administrative fee**

After completing at least one lesson but less than 50% of the course assignments:

Up to and including 10% of the course: AGU to retain 10% of the refundable tuition (i.e., tuition charges remaining after subtracting the $50.00 administrative fee)**

Between 10% and 25% of the course: AGU to retain 25% of the refundable tuition**

Between 25% and 50% of the course: AGU to retain 50% of the refundable tuition**

After completion of 50% of the course: AGU to retain all of the student’s tuition


*A $50.00 administrative fee will be taken from this amount.

**Any refund due to a student will be refunded within 30 calendar days.

NOTE:  The number of days represented above pertains to the number of days following the student’s signing of a Course Registration Form. Additionally, AGU is entitled up to no more than $300.00 from first-time students who withdraw within the first week of signing a Course Registration Form. The withdrawal date is the post-marked date on the request and post office canceled stamp on the envelope.
