OVERVIEW
The sheer volume of information flow
in recent years has had a profound impact on our lives. It has changed
the way we think, behave and live. It has opened up a new world of opportunities
to learn, understand and move to higher levels of living both materially
and, more importantly, morally.
Therefore, realizing the importance of this rapid and
profound influence of information technology in our daily lives, the
College of Information Technology has designed and implemented a curriculum
to provide the fundamentals of this technology and prepare the student
for the job market.
It is based on the overall philosophy and the general
approach of the college that the curriculum offered here is focused
not only on theories but also on the practical aspects of the technology
itself. This is a rapidly changing industry where standards are redefined
